{"id":41,"date":"2005-05-13T22:17:02","date_gmt":"2005-05-14T06:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.myadportfolio.com\/wordpress\/?p=41"},"modified":"2005-05-13T22:17:45","modified_gmt":"2005-05-14T06:17:45","slug":"bell-south-furious-over-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.myadportfolio.com\/wordpress\/bell-south-furious-over-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Bell South furious over campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Bell South competitor, Dialog Teleommunications, has set the old belle ringing with its &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adrants.com\/2005\/05\/bell-south-bullshit-about-bs-ad.php\">take the BS out of phone service<\/a>&#8221; campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign in several media including outdoor, newspaper, TV and direct mail, has ads headlined &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/64.233.179.104\/search?q=cache:yIod-7xY990J:www.wchstv.com\/newsroom\/ky\/news15.shtml+Dialog+Telecommunications+ads&#038;hl=en\">Ell Outh<\/a>.&#8221;  The copy further states &#8220;no hidden fees, no extra charges, no BS.&#8221;  The work was created by  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.booneoakley.com\">BOONE\/OAKLEY<\/a>, of Charlotte, N.C.<\/p>\n<p>The reaction at Bell South was immediate fury.  The campaign broke April 29th, and that day Bell sent Dialog a request to stop running the ads.  (It is believed that someone tipped Bell South to the upcoming campaign.)  <\/p>\n<p>The phone giant has already gotten a cease-and-desist order.
